Tracking PNP July 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

Guys, who can help. I have a work permit, but my visa expired. Who knows, is it ok to send passport to get new visa in Ottawa while PR processing, and then leave Canada and reenter? anybody did this before?

Sent an application to renew my entry visa while having PR application in process. It took 20 days to get my passport back with visa on it

Hi Friends,

I really have a fantastic news from my side. I have received my AINP Nomination extension today...It's really amazing news for me. I almost lost my hopes when CIO returned my application for the second time on Sept 20. But, with all your guidance and extreme help, I have sent a request to AINP for extending my nomination on Sept 25. My nomination extension was approved on Sept 28th (this is what the Nomination extension shows) but I have received it by post today. AINP has extended for the next 6 months which is until March 27, 2013.

I am extremely thankful to everyone here especially Edmontonbound, stone8198, adnanraheed, lucas52, chatdips, LU, glennster, verveiko, ronaldoyaronaldo, Ojeola, mcsvizag, aliazad75, Aladin4, aajaz, toyeeen.

Thanks to all of you for being more confident than me in getting my AINP nomination extension...

One more thing, it's AINP gift for me on my birthday (it's my birthday todayyyyy... )

Guys, please share your thoughts and suggestions before I re-submit my application to CIO.

What do u mean? How come visa expired you have wp though?

if I understand right you from Korea, to enter Canada you don't need visa, just valid work permit, for other countries it's different, I need visa and work permit, so if I want to leave Canada I need to renew visa first, that's why every work permit says "not valid for re-entry"

My med was done on Sep 7th and I feel I have been waiting for a while for my ecas to show updates...or maybe I am just too impatient lol My ecas stills shows : We received your application for permanent residence on June 29, 2012.
Does anyone have similar timeline and have "in progress" or any other updates after med exam already?

Here is my timeline..(sorry I dont know how to put my timeline underneath my user name)

FEB 27/12 - SENT TO PEI NOMINEE
MAY 24/12 - APPROVED FROM PEI PNP
JUNE 27/12 - SENT TO CIO IN SYDNEY . REC ON JUNE 29
JULY 27/12 - CREDIT CARD CHARGED
JULY 31/12 - AOR REC BY EMAIL
AUG 8/12 - VO CONFIRMED (OTTAWA), MED REQUEST REC BY EMAIL
SEP 7/12 - MED EXAM DONE

Yep, i have done it as well. mine took about 4 weeks to get my visa. and i travel a lot in and out of canada so its ok. you just need to show your work permit when u arrive back to canada. I usually keep the a copy of nomination letter as well to be on the safer side.

I did med on 10th sep and no update yet. it takes 6~8weeks to get updated.

medicals were done on 16th july and were sent on 26th july

I believe you are from india and hoping that your VO is also ND. please share your timelines of getting AOR from NS, AOR from NDVO, MR from NDVO (is it by email or letter)...? i m suppose to get AOR by this week (hoping) and currently i m working ovresea so need to resolve MR. whether MR can be done oversea or i had to come india for that purpose only.??

Hi jaggu I am from chandigarh but i am a in canada applicant. You can do your medicals if you are working overseas. Just find a canadian immigration designated doctor that should not be a problem and meanwhile my visa office in Cpp-ottawa

Hi Monica I am a PEI nominee too with a timeline a week or so after yours, and sarayu many congrats on your extension .. your back on your way again ... great news.

Not sure about the english test but my employer had to sign to say I spoke english (I am from the UK) on the pnp forms.
