my sister's application reached CIO, NS on August 2012. On inquiring, they inform that they have not received it. Purolator Rep, who knows someone in CIO informs that they are still working on July 2012 applications and so they have not acknowledged August applications.

Hi koltu,
Don't worry there are chances of cutting your fees before 1st October because they received my file on 1st August and tried to cut fees on 18 sept
from credit card but unfortunately my cvv number was wrong so they sent my application back. I think you will be ok

How do you know they try to charge the fees on 18th september??

Hi Koltu,
I came to now because they tried to cut my fees from my credit card but some how it didn't go through so sent my application back with a letter stating the problem and in that letter they date 18 sept so assume that tried cut fees on or before 18 sept.

What was the address she sent it to ? If the address is coreect then they should have received t

Hi Ojeola,

I live in Canada. I hope that they encashed my money order by now.
It won't be too long for us to receive our AOR's.

Next week is probably full of AOR's...lol

Hello Firends,

Just want to ask you some questions, a friend of mine came to Canada at the age of 16, but he is 19 years old now he applied to CIO but supplied a criminal record check he did when he was 18.

Will like to ask if that can let CIO return it papers since i dont think Criminal record Certificate is mandatory when filling out the application.

What is difference between baclog pilot program PNP process and other PNP process.? you are in backlop pilot program or normal.?

Thank you very much jaggu, am also expecting my CC to be charged this week. Am praying for God's favour on it. I applied through PNP from international student stream, hopefully things will be fast.

The backlog PNP program is for streams that have reached there maximum capacity to accepts more applications like the skilled program.

Any update from anyone in July 30/31 or first week of August timeline?? It been over 6weeks since our application have been received by CIO. Am just curious because my criminal record check will expire by 17th of this months..

applied on july 21 ..... 8 weeks have passed and nothing yet ..... i hav been to BC PNP office immigration workshop , met few immigration consultants there ..they say that process nowadays is very slow its gonna take more than a year for PNP files ... praying to hear something before xmas holidays ...hmmm struckk

Yea, since the bufalo visa office closure everything has been moving very very slow.

Hopefully things will change for better very soon
