Congratulations

Going by the email, your application status should have changed to approved i think. Please post here when it changes to approved. I am also waiting for card and keeping close eye on this thread.

Thanks.

Here I will share my frustrating and long PR card experience which hasnt ended yet

Landed Aug 21st 2018
First photo rejection letter received Oct 15
New photos sent Oct 19
Second photo rejection letter Dec 7
New photos received Dec 31st
Ghost update Today Feb 15
However this morning I got another (third) photo rejection letter
So I called CIC and the agent said my card is in production (???)I told him that I got a rejection letter as well. Then he is also not sure if my photos are good or not so he is making a request to processing centre for clarification. He also mentioned that if your photos are rejected 3 times then they would 'find another solution' instead of letting you keep sending new photos (which I hope none of you guys would have to experience this)

So what happens now is he said I should wait for one month. If I dont receive my pr card or get an update from them, I should call back again to ask.

Very frustrating! But I hope is in production. Are you inside or outside Canada?

You had questions on re submission request, here is some information
Since you are going to do (soft) landing, you need to provide a local Canadian address ( may be of a friend/relative)
All communications will reach that address.
Photo requests can come by email or postal mail
As far as I know, photos taken outside of Canada are accepted as well.
Soft Copy does not work, you need to send real Photos (hard copy)
Thank you for your reply.
So how can I send hard copy from outside Canada?

Thank you for your reply.
So how can I send hard copy from outside Canada?
Once you get the photo request letter, it will have an address to send your photos to.
Please keep in mind it is a PO Box address and not all carriers ( specially outside canada ) do not deliver to PO Boxes.
So, you can ask for a courier address and can send to that using UPS, Fedex etc
If you scroll down in this thread, someone has posted that address already but it is advisable to get it from CIC raising a webform just in case the address has changed. Just mention that you need courier address and the mailing company can not deliver to PO Boxes.
