I don't think there is any update for photos received in Jan for anyone as yet.

yes, I agree with you. The most recent pictures recieved date that were updated till now is 24 decembre

Get into the website of canada post and seearch for transit time, plug in your zip code and the origin zip code, they’ll tell you average transit time to your zip code. I show 9 days to Alberta

re-submission received - Jan 7 2019
photos delivered - Jan 11 2019
current PR card application status - submitted

Mine were also received on the 11th. The status says submitted. I assume another 3-4 weeks for us.

What's a ghost update please?

Basically when you enter in your Gckey account (you should have linked your PR card application) you can see 'update' under your PR card application. If you enter you will not see anything changed really but that means they are working on that and something will happen.
