I got Photo request today. My wife landed on same day, she didn't get any.

Landed 14th October
Photo request : 6th December

I've sent the photos, the agent said they are processing 12th October photo requests if anyone's wondering. This is a blackbox indeed. No wonder why ppl are frustrated.

Massage to them December 6. They said Permanent Resident Card (PR card) has already been approved and sent for production.
How long I have to wait?

You would probably get it by end of this month or starting January as holidays are coming. I landed on September 29. No photo request nothing. Card got approved and dispatched on 29 November . Am still waiting for card.

I landed in sep 29, it was approved on Nov 29 , today Dec 6 received card , unfortunately We don’t receive my wife ? What shall we do now? Just contact them or wait?

Landed at Tsawwassen border: Sep 27, 2018.
Receive PR card on Dec 6, 2018.
But my wife landed on the same day still waiting her PR card.

You or your wife can call CIC and inquire about the status of your card. That would be the fastest way around.

I don't get it, if its the same application why won't they send the bunch at a time.

Depends. Only a few are not getting any photo requests. I was pretty confident of my pictures as I had checked the specifications etc while sending the copies for COPR. My COPR and landing date was in the window of 6 months. Don't have any clue why pics were rejected. Wait times are okay comparatively, but if a photo request is sent after 50 days that adds more wait times. If you are lucky you won't get any photo request.. specifications etc seems to be BS. My friend got 2 photo requests and he landed in august, Still waiting for his card. If Canadians don't know how to take their own PR pictures then who does? Nor they have registered services where we can take pictures and submit it thinking thats going to be accepted anyhow. Its Quite obvious they are understaffed and overwhelmed by the applications and just buying out some time by sending adhoc photo requests.
