Hi Doverraja, I had a similar experience today. I saw my status change to Application/Profile updated but when I clicked for the status, it changed to Submitted again. Can you please let me know if this is a Ghost update? Did you receive your approval after this message? Thanks

I am assuming this is the ghost update. I also faced the same yesterday.

Im hoping that we get the approved status in a couple of days. Fingers crossed.

Received Photo Requests : June 3rd (All 3 of us)
Sent new photos, Received @ Sydney, NovaScotia : June 18th, 2018
Profile updated (maybe Ghost update) : Seen today, 16th July. Not sure when it was updated.

Hi all, we landed on april 5th, got a photo request and photos delivered on May 28th (couriered it to 49 Dorchester St)... no updates so far...raised a web enquiry...and got a response saying that they cannot fond the photos in the system but that is normal...not sure what to do now!! Any help would be highly appreciated

That's right- this is a ghost update. Wait for another 2 days to see it 'approved'.

Landing-16 May 2018 Etobicoke,no photo request, status still shows ,,Submitted,, 62 days waiting for first PR Card

I would suggest you give them call.I had similar story.Status was submitted (after 62 days) until I called them.Agent told me,that he sent a message to process my card.After few days,I got ghost update and approved eventually.Currently I am waiting for my card to be delivered.

The average processing time has increased drastically because of the huge influx during the summer months. It will be about 2-3 months before we see any progress.

At last I have some news to share,

Landing: April23
Application linked to CIC account: April 24
No Update on application till 18 July.

Raised first CSE on 22 June, got a reply on 9 July that my application is being processed in a special unit and will be delayed. I was outside Canada, came back and called CIC on July 17, agent on the phone told me there is nothing wrong with your application, it has just not been printed. So he added a note to the printing division to expedite processing of my application and told me to expect the card by August 1st week.

Today I received ghost update that disappeared after I opened it.

Looking forward to an approval in the next week and then receiving card after that.

It has been 86 days since my landing and it looks like finally they have picked up my application.
