So finally I got an update on July 9.. emails asked me to check my account.. I am all excited and when I login what i see is a photo request. Sent my photos on July 14th. Hoping that it will get accepted. Looking at August last week for PR card delivery.

I am not sure. My status was updated to approved. Also the call center guy said it was mailed out. So I guess yes. Congrats to you too!

Landing on May 26 Etobicoke
Ghost update on Friday July 6
Approved on Wednesday morning July 11 ( myCIC account)
Got the card in mailbox today July 13,Friday

Hi Guys,
I just logged into my account and my application for PRCard says "Application/Profile updated", but when I check the full application, I don't see any changes. Is this the "Ghost Update"?? How many days will it take to get approved and receive the cards?

My Details are as follows, if this helps to understand the situation.
Landed : Aril 19th, 2018 (With Spouse and kid)
Received Photo Requests : June 3rd (All 3 of us)
Sent new photos, Received @ Sydney, NovaScotia : June 18th, 2018
Profile updated (maybe Ghost update) : Seen today, 16th July. Not sure when it was updated.

BTW, there was no mail for the update today. And I have received mails for the Photo requests, without any changes in the profile. So, trying to understand when the emails are sent and for what updates.

Call IRCC. Maybe they sent a photo request and u haven’t got the request email

I don't think we will get a response for this query even if we call IRCC and ask them.
A quick Google search showed this tweet from IRCC. Also, this page details the requirements and common causes for rejection.

Hi all, we landed on april 5th, got a photo request and photos delivered on May 28th (couriered it to 49 Dorchester St)... no updates so far...raised a web enquiry...and got a response saying that they cannot fond the photos in the system but that is normal...not sure what to do now!! Any help would be highly appreciated

Looks like you are Inland candidate. Am I right?

Everyone, Please mention whether you are Inland or Outland.
I am beginning to think that the processing times are different for Inland and Outland candidates, though I have no evidence for this.

Hi All, I just logged in to my profile today to check my PR card status (Landed on 31 May) and I noticed that my PR card application changed to Application/Profile updated from Submitted. Later when I clicked check full application status and went back to the previous page my application status changed back to Submitted. What could be the reason? Did anyone else experience this ?

I had the same status message - 'Application/PRofile updated'. When i clicked, the status changed to 'submitted'. Any idea what's happening?

Hi Doverraja, I had a similar experience today. I saw my status change to Application/Profile updated but when I clicked for the status, it changed to Submitted again. Can you please let me know if this is a Ghost update? Did you receive your approval after this message? Thanks
