Congratulations to all those who got approval/ updated status. Can you guys pinpoint what went wrong in your respective first photo submissions? This can be of general help to people going forward.

Thanking in advance

So I never knew when they received my re submission of my photos. (Didn't get tracking number)
It is now over the 30 days deadline since they asked for them, sent them on 1st of May 2018. If i haven't heard from them to ask where my photos are can i assume they received them? Would they contact me if they never received the new photos? like got lost in the mail (dam Canada Post) or went to the wrong address.
Hoping to get an update really soon here! Been checking my CIC account like 20 times a day to see if I see a change.
My kid received his PR card in the post a month and half after I resent new photos. My spouse and I got our second rejection around the same time. Good luck to you.

Landed on April 19th and have no update so far..

I think CIC has lost interest in my PR card... lol.

I am like .. have patience and wait for it but I think something is not going right. People landed after me are having updates from CIC.

I think now I am gonna apply for New Zeland and do agriculture over there.
Ha ha ha. Becoming a farmer anywhere in the world would be a great stress buster :p

On a serious note, be patient and remain positive. Your PR card will be in your hands soon. All the best.

Congratulations! And thank you for sharing your timeline. I landed exactly a month after you and just like you, I have had my photos rejected twice so far :D Hopefully I will get my PR card next month :)

It's hard to say. I got rejected twice and both times the photographer (first time in my home country and second time in Canada) claimed that they had followed every instruction on the photo specification sheet. I checked the size and other other requirements myself and found nothing wrong in both the cases. Despite all this, I got a photo resubmission request not once but twice! Good luck to you and everyone else waiting for their PR cards.
