Guys, I had a couple of questions concerning a short landing. Assuming completion of the landing procedures, while leaving a friend's address to receive the PR card.

1) If i leave Canada before receiving the PR card. Does this mean i am still capable of applying for a permanent resident travel document in my home country, despite asking them to send the PR card at a Canadian address? More specifically, if my friend receives the PR card, while i am back in my home country, am i still allowed to apply for the permanent resident travel visa ?

2) If cic asks for new photos or anything else required for issuing the PR card, do i have to deliver it in person or it can be mailed ?

3) What are the chances of being rejected for a permanent resident travel visa ?

I landed May 24th.

Really need PR card soon, as I have to leave Canada on August 2nd for a trip back home.

Nice (y)
Added my case

Just curious, how do we know when the card is dispatched? Do we get an email?

To know we have to call to CIC , they will update you.

I landed on 14 May. It's 64 days today and when I called CIC, the officer informed me that my photo does not meet the requirement and I will need to send them a new photo. This is frustrating, I wish they could have informed me earlier.

For those who were in the same situation as me, how long did it take for you guys to receive the PR card upon re-sending them new photos?

are you inland or outland?
if you are inland, usually they will let you know your photo doesn't meet requirements when you send your passport to ottawa.

Inland. They didn't say anything when I sent my passport and photos to Ottawa. They even sent me the COPR with one of my photos attached to it.

Will I have to wait for another 63 days?

Nope, your case is on hold. Once they will receive your photos, it will be processed right away. 2 more weeks probably.

Hi guys, when should I call IRCC to check on my PR card? it's been 52 days for me. I did my landing on May 26th.

Can we land at the airport? If someone travels from Toronto to Calgary by Air. Then while arriving at the airport can they land? Or is it necessary that one has to at least touch the border?
