Finally got the card yesterday (June 26). Landed on April 16, so 71 days.

Although I updated address every time I called in (20 times+), they still sent card to wrong address...smh

Anyways it finally came to an end. Wasn't a very pleasant experience dealing with CIC but still thankful there's no major screw-up. Hope everyone gets their card soon.

Yes you can enter by road from USA with your COPR.

OR you can apply for PRTD from your Home country as soon as you will reach there and staying for 2-3 weeks. Then you can travel back directly to Canada with your PRTD

I am just worried , if I try to travel USA , my home country immigration people will not ask me about my Canadian PR card on airport before boarding.
your information is valuable RiZ92

Your Home country immigration department shouldn't be concerned as long as you have valid visa for US. You can tell them as you are PR of Canada and you will be entering into Canada through US.

In US immigration you can easily tell them about the situation as they are very well aware of this COPR and by road crossing scenario.

In Short you will be fine :)

If you don't have PR card then while traveling from your home country to USA they might ask you return ticket from USA to your home country as you have visitor visa for USA.

Receive my PR card today!!!!
Landed 22nd April.
Took them 69 days
Finally it comes to an end, good luck guys...
