How do you guys know "still under production"... do you call everyday? I want to call and get an update but I know they know that I called before and I dont want them to get annoyed.

To be safe you can call them in intervals of one week post your normal processing time duration is over. They can refuse to give info if you are regularly calling before the processing time duration but post that they sympathise :-)

Hi, I have few questions, as I still didn't get my PR card.
I've landed on Nov 1st, address provided on Nov 3rd, still nothing about the card.
Should I in any kind apply for it, or it's automatically after I land and they receive my COPR, and when I provide address?

Where do you check your status and what number are you using?

And last question - phone number to CIC where I can check what's happening with my card

Thanks :D

Update:

My wife and I landed together on 26/10/2016

We received my card on 23/12/2016, and my wife's card today, on 05/01/2017.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. How did you provide the address after landing? When I landed, I too didn't provide an address, but I sent it a week later by fax and also via a CSE (to be on the safe side). Do they need only the address update form for that (i.e., no PR card application form needed for the initial card)?

I didn't provide address at the airport, I've sent it later via webform:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

Including all data from my application: EE number, UCI.
It's inconvenient they dont provide any kind of confirmation they have received the address, but it works

Didn't do anything more than that

can't believe processing time has been extended to 58 days... Anyone knows which visa office can process PRTD in one day?

I understand that you need to be physically in Canada to apply for PR card. Is it ok to apply for it and send the PR card to a relative's place and then leave Canada while the PR card application is in process? Or do you need to be there and wait until the PR card arrives?
