Landed on the 13th of October.
I have been asked 2 new pictures on the 15th of November. I sent them on the same day.

I'm disappointed about this request, but I guess it's because my previous pictures have been taken more than 6 months ago.

I hope it won't delay too much my PR card delivery.

Waiting for PR card
Hi
Landed at carway on oct15 ..
Still waiting for PR card.
I have to travel outside canada in feb..

Raman 186,

Feb is too far my man........by then you should have your PR card unless there are problems with your photos which may delay it.........but if all is in order, am convinced by latest mid December 2016 you should have your PR card in your hands.

All the best ....

GoHappyCaN,

How did they request for new photos, through a normal letter or email?

I suppose it was email since you got it on the same day, right?

Yes they requested it through email, but I had to send the photos by mail with the PDF letter I received in my mailbox. I'm quite sure it's because my photos have been taken in April (so more than 6 months ago). Still hopeful to receive my card before I have to travel.

I'm a bit confused about the timeline stated on this website for new PR cards...

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/

Is this the time it takes for you to receive a decision on your Permanent Residence application when submitted online through express entry, or the time it takes to receive your actual PR card after you physically land in the country with your CoPR? If not, how long does it take to receive the CoPR?

The processing time for new PR card is once you have received the CoPR and landed.
The processing time to receive the CoPR is around 6 months after you've submitted a complete application online.

Hello prab0,

Congratulations for the arrival of pr card.

I guess you meant a ups mailbox. Shouldn't they notify the customer when a package arrives? I did a short landing mid October and rented a mailbox for this purpose. Hope it will work.

Hi Prab0, congratulations on the receipt of your PR cards! Did you give your friend's address where these PR cards got delivered?

I landed on 9th October in Toronto, going by the no of days it took for you, my PR cards should hopefully be delivered by 20th or the week of 21st November. :)

Yes it was a UPS mailbox. I asked my UPS guy whether he will notify me about any incoming mail then he said no , he told you can periodically enquire over e-mail then i will respond as it's very tedious task for me to monitor 500 mailboxes and notify everyone. And he sounded reasonable to me as he was the only one who was operating the UPS store. Its a franchise type of thing.
I enquired him last week for mail based on the current processing time ,at that time card was not delivered.
i inquired again today and the mail from CIC was there. I also got it couriered to my friends address today itself.

Total UPS experience has been good till now.
