Does anyone have their pr card lost in the mail?

I called CIC and they said that they mail the card on aug/22 but I havent received anything... I live in Toronto so it shouldnt take that long.

What can I do?

My PR card picture looks like a homeless late night Walmart shopper who hasn't slept for 3 days. Anywhere i show my ID i put my thumb on the picture so they can't see it

I called CIC yesterday and was told my card is in production... and it is the last step...
i guess it still takes several steps to print a card , review , validation, approval etc.....
hoping to receive the plastic in mailbox by eow next week...

It should not take that long. What did they say when you rang? Give them a call and point out it's now exceeded 3 weeks. CIC should not want these cards lost either as they are very valuable to the wrong people. I still don't get why they don't send them certified or at least offer it as an option, I bet 99% of people would pay an extra $20 to get rapid delivery, compared to the other $2500 (optimistically) it costs to get PR.

Exactly. They should at least have the option for a registered mail. I called them again and they said that if you still haven't receive the card after six weeks of they mailed it out. I can fill out a Solemn Declaration and send it to Nova Scotia to have a new card mailed out... which would take another 2 month.

I am leaving out of country on October and it is really annoying since I landed in may and still no pr card....

Mrs. MooseNBooze wasn't too happy with the photographer's handiwork (taken after a long workday and she looks a bit frazzled). I can't wait to LOL once she gets the card and hates the way she looks (I always LOL when she obsesses about the way she looks, which she rarely does but still, LOL).

I was on holiday in US so didn't get a chance to write sooner than now.
I received my PR card sometime in the week of Aug 29.
I'd already left for my holiday by then, my boyfriend brought the PR card with him when he joined me on my trip.
