Finally got my PR cards!!!!

Landed: June 11, 2016
Photo Request: August 3, 2016
Date CIC Received New Photos: August 10, 2016
PR Cards Received: August 27, 2016

Just an update! Got PR card after resubmitting photo! Photo received 15 aug, pr card received sep 1. after resubmitting photo it is only taking two to three week. but it is taking 2 months to inform us about photo resubmission

Call the call center to update his address on file. Or else you are going to miss his pr card.
I am not sure why you think that they should not send email. Its the easiest way and fastest way, also if not you wouldnt have gotten his photo request (with the wrong address).

I called them last week, they told me the PR cards had been made the day before and mailed right after. All the postal addresses were OK (including my husband's) ! And on Friday evening (26th), the cards were in the mailbox, hurray !

(4 months 1/2 to get the PR cards after copr validation...)

Also received PR Card today after resending photos! Photos reached cic on August 19th.

I want to change my address. Please let me know how to submit request for address update. I have informed IRCC through CSE, is there any other way I should inform them to receive PR Card on new address?

We received our cards today

landed :May 14
photo requested :Aug 4
photo sent: Aug 13
received : Aug 18
Cards received: Sep 1 (new month gift ;D)

also note that change of address does not affect processing time as we changed ours on Aug 19

Call cic directly; option 1 -1 -4 -1 from Canada. It is done immediately instead of using CSE that may take 5 days

Caveat: be nice to the agent or else s/he may want to send you an email on our to raise CSE for address change. This is based on my experience. I did not raise a CSE for my address change.

2. How does CIC request new photos? Via email? mail? or phone?
3. How do we track the progress of new PR card?

1. it is a mystery. No one knows. Apparently photos clicked by same person in same studio has cases where one is accepted and other one is rejected.
2. Via postal mail. You can keep calling them post 41 days of landing to check the status.
3. Via calling. No other way

Hang on in there, ours only arrived yesterday which was exactly 42 days since we landed. Yours could arrive Monday!

None yet, it's been my 7th week since landing. I intend to wait it out until my 8th week before calling.

I would phone just now - processing time is 41 days and you've past that now.

Called CIC to check the status on my PR Card. Agent advised my Card was mailed on August 31st. How many days does it take to receive the Card?

mine took 7 days, to Vancouver, BC
