even i had the same issue i landed in october got my kids pr card in January but mine and my spouse ddidnt get till now. i called thrice to cic .. first time they didnt acces my file so the agent told its common issue and its not necessary to get pr card same time even though every one landed together. because all pr card are processed separately. second time thy accessed my file and told there is technical issue in printing pr cards who landed at thr time of october between 5 and 20so thy told it will come on march

Don't think so, the minimum time would be 2 years (3 - 1 year max for time prior to PR). I believe you would need to wait the full 2 years before applying.

- Physical presence for 3 out of 5 years before the date of application

I got my PR card mailed to me yesterday. I landed on 16-Jan-2016.
PR Validity is 5 years.

Good luck to all who are in the process. CIC is doing a god job and sticking to their timelines.

Submitted address to CIC on 5th December 2015 via fax.

I have been trying to reach the PR card call centre but the call is never answered.

Is anyone falling in the same boat?

Please advise what needs to be done in this scenario.

i have reached them 2-3 times for my pr card.

so try calling them early morning around 9am or late evening around 4pm.

this are mostly idle times. afternoon hours are busy.

keep trying.

Today I received a letter stating that my child's picture are not according to the latest specification. The photographer took the pictures according to the latest specification for our family. I don't know whom I have to blame. Somehow me and my wife got our cards. But child's didn't went through.

I have to take picture again today and send on the self-addressed envelope CIC has sent.

Hmmmm... well we can't do anything in this situation. I hope the child photo specs are not so different then ours w.r.t. center of head, shoulders, etc. parameters.
