I landed on 4th feb but I have to leave on 18th as I still haven't quit my job in my home country . would it be a problem as mine is a very short landing here. I was told 2 months for my PR card . I am.hoping to receive it by April . any Cases where ppl did short landing and faced issues afterwards

As far as landing is done there shouldn't be any issue. You cannot return to Canada with CoPR unless you are travelling to US by car. To re-enter Canada you must apply for eTravel document from your home country.

I landed on Dec 29. I'm also awaiting PR card. Did not know about the increased timelines. I did do a trip to States and crossed border by road for avoiding any travel hassles with the airlines.

Did my landing Nov 12. Got word today that I need to resubmit my photographs so I guess Ill be waiting for another couple mths. ~Sigh~ Nothing is ever easy with CIC, is it?

whoever crossed 42 days please call them so that you can know your card status whether you need new photographs or anything or if they have already mailed it or if it is in printing.....

so make a call today.

Not every one is asked for new pictures. Those who submitted their photos in old size are getting request to submit new ones.

hello everyone... i had a quick question...

is the PR card mailer left in your mailbox or a delivery notice is left for the card to be picked up from a local post office?

i'm worried because i live in an apartment building and a friend just informed me that she called CIC to check the status of her card and she was told the card needs be signed for by the receiver or else it's sent back to CIC.... and from there it's a long and tedious process to get the card back...

while most of us are at work during Canada Post delivery times and we have the cards delivered at home address... i'm stressing out here...

all the people who have received their card please clear my confusion...
