Interestingly I got an email saying "We updated your application status" but application status still shows submitted.
Is this 2nd ghost update? I had one yesterday where application status "Updated"

Any comments on this?

I think there might be a time lag between an actual update on your application and an email notification.

Back when I was waiting for my PR application to be processed I saw an update on my application when I logged in. I was sure it was a ghost update but then I got an email notification the next day. In my opinion, the two events were related.

I logged into to my CIC account about 3 days back and noticed the main page mentioning there being an update (no mail was sent though). When I checked, there was nothing and I could have sworn that I saw the changed status. Anyway, I used to web form to check with them (I landed 8 March) so it just passed the time.

A few minutes ago, I get an update like yours about an update. Checked my account and saw that now they had indeed dispatched the PR card! So hopefully yours might be coming soon too.

Right, so in fact there might have been two separate updates. A ghost update and another update that triggered an email notification. The second update being about a dispatch of your PR card. Good to know!

Hi... I have a question..
I ve linked my PR Card application to my CIC account after my landing last month & updated address through web form as officers were not taking d address at d airport.
Now, wen my wife and kid will arrive in any whichever month, how their application will b linked to CIC account or will their names be automatically updated in my profile after their landing.

Also, do I ve to send 2 separate webforms to update their address for PR Card delivery or it ll automatically b sent on d address which I ve updated after my landing.
