it can be .but it is very risky and is usually not recommended by CIC .but many people doing it .anyways if u re outside canada no card with you .better to apply for PRTD visa .

Link it to your cic account. You'll know when it's approved. Approx 58-60 days

Let us updated. I live in Calgary. Card approve on June 11. Not delivered as well.

@salmaniut, I'm in YYC too and my card was approved on Jun 13, 2018. Lets see when mine arrives. Please keep us posted when you get yours.

Dear all,

Thank you for all the great work you are doing here, helping newbies and novice like me.

My question is on identification documents for children when filling the post ITA profile. Assuming the child is an American citizen and a South African citizen, parents are South Africans, and they live in South Africa currently. Would it be necessary to input both South African and American passport or just the American passport which the parents intend to use for the child. Child's birth certificate was obtained in the USA.

Secondly, is it necessary to scan all VISAs and stamps from previous passports.

Hi All,
Would like to know if a permanent resident, who has not received a PR card yet and who is currently outside Canada can travel on a visit visa stamped in the passport, which is valid till June 2019, to collect PR cards ?

Would appreciate any help in this regard.
