I don't know about that. After landing(11/12/2017), I just waited for my card to be mailed. And suddenly, I got an email by CIC saying that they received my application on 12/29/2017. I was so surprised and then I tried to link my application to my account. And at the time the status showed my documents are under reviewed. So I don't know when it changed. But my application was approved on 1/5/2018. So I guess once it's under review, it would be approved very soon.

How are you going to get it to you? Courier?

He was supposed to come to our home country visiting last December but got delayed. He's probably coming to visit around April and he'll bring it with him.

That's what surprised me too!!! Many people here did it successfully... I tried 100 times with different place of birth spelling and lower-upper cases but no luck.
Anyway, it's frustrating but nothing we can do about...
I'll cancel my airplane tickets tonight and will go visit my family when I get PR card!

Enter your Place of Birth "exactly" as it appears in your COPR document. If they have shortened the name of the place, you have to expand it.

Guys I landed on the 11th of November and I couldn't link my application no matter what. What is the best action to do right now? Should I contact CIC or is it too early?

Just a query,I have send my photo via Canada Post ( Xpresspost) and it has been received as well, However no one has signed in the tracking record?

Should i be worried as no one has signed the package received? is it necessary that all the time someone will sign it when they will receive the package ?

Guys any suggestion is appreciated, i am worried about my case!!

Thanks for the feedback and Congrats. Let us know once you’ve received the card. I landed on 13-11-2017 , it says under review so expecting it to be approved this week Hopefully. Maybe it goes straight from under review to Approved.

I had resent the photos via Xpresspost and called CIC to check if they had received the parcel. but they said they won't have any details until the parcel is opened and that would take more than 1 month. I am unable to link my application. Is there any way of checking the same.
