So you know that your work permit extension will be approved. You need to research provinces that are still inviting IT NOCs. Many are focused on healthcare, trades etc. Without a job offer in the province where you are eligible then chances are low. Or high wage LMIA where employer cannot hire a Canadian/PR.
With the increasingly restrictive policies, I really don't know if my WP will be renewed or not. Until then I have throttled the business back significantly, in case I am asked to leave.

You are right about the NOC and provinces. I have 30 years in IT in healthcare environment. My EE profile has Ontario, Alberta and BC on it, in case I get picked up from there. Looking for LMIA jobs too but not a single opportunity in 2 years !!

BC and Alberta require job offers. Only Ontario is a possibility without a job offer but hasn't been an IT draw in years. LMIAs are very hard to secure especially with the crack down on fake LMIAs.

I understand.
Will be grateful if you have any other possibilities to share.

Thank you indeed for your time and guidance. You have shared more than a few consultants that I went to !
