Hi, My spouse is a line cook in a restaurant since 2019 full time for a year and then covid happened and he was part-time but he starts a new job this week. Line cook with is under NOC 6322 and broad category 6 – Sales and service occupations. I know it is non-healthcare essential, but the list of Eligible occupations does not outright say cooks?
We have the choice of extending his WP or going for this stream. Any advice is helpful!

I don't see NOC 6322 on the list of eligible occupations. Are you sure it's there? Maybe I missed it.

List is here:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...grate-canada/tr-pr-pathway/who-can-apply.html

Select: Workers in Canada: essential, non health care

I did not see it either that's why I was confused
I was looking at this list here under non-essential service providers.
So it has to be explicitly stated on the list?

The occupation must be on the link I provided. Those are the mandatory eligibility requirements.
