I have a question: if you have already applied for a study permit extension, but have to leave Canada while they are still processing it (which can take up to 3 months), is it possible to reenter Canada by applying for a tourist visa (TRV) from your home country?

1 If you are not from a visa exempt country, you require a valid TRV to re enter Canada
