Dear All,

I'm a Canadian Citizen and I want to apply for Tourist Visa for my In laws to visit Canada for around 4 months. The Tourist visa needs to be applied at the Indian Consulate. As part of the supporting documentation from my end I plan to provide the following
(a) Job verification letter
(b) NOA for 2 years
(c) T4 for the current taxation year
(d) Bank Balance for the last 3 months
(e) Pay stubs for the last 3 months
(d) Letter of Invitation that states I and my wife are the sponsors and we will take care of all the expenses.

My Father in law is retired and my Mother in law is a home maker. As part of the supporting documentation from the visitors side (My In laws) side we plan to provide the following
(a) Retirement Certificate of my father in law
(b) Pension Certificate of my father in law
(b) Bank statement for the last 6 months
(c) Income tax for the last 2 years CANNOT be provided since after retirement there was no necessity to file the tax

Questions
======
(a) Is there any other supporting documentation needed/necessary from my IN LAWS end ?
(b) Is there any other supporting documentation needed/necessary from MY end ?

Thanks

Has your father traveled a number of times to countries requiring visas before? If not, four months is a long trip. I would recommend you ask for 2-3 weeks instead.
