A friend of mine recommended this because of its amazing services and you'll enjoy what it offers (entertainment and everything) during the flight plus an experience to ride A380. Actually my uncle is working in a travel agency, he even recommended Cathay Pacific as an alternative, cheaper fare and a shorter travel duration time.

I just checked Etihad online, it is quoting me 3,062 for 4 of us. The travel duration is just too long, about 27 hours. Emirates is about 21.5 hours while Cathay is about 16.5 hours.

I have not booked yet so I will still consider other options.

May I know what airline is quoting you 3000 USD? Is this for 4 persons? I did also reservation in my uncle's travel agency for emirates, about 3,400 ++ inclusive of taxes. He quotes me 3140 USd for Cathay Pacific.

I got Air Ticket booked for $ 711 for January end from New Delhi to Toronto.
It's British Airways with a 5 hrs stay at London,UK
I still feel it's cheap only.
Toronto is chilling these days with almost -18 temperature.

From Manila to Dubai is 737-300, from Dubai to Toronto is A380

No. Not exactly.
It's usually -4 to -6/7 usually since quite sometime.
And it's quite comfortable. During daylight I'm Ok with the usual dresses with a jacket. While at night a sweater under the jacket is fine.
