hi! we're landing on march 26, 2011 in brampton via cathay pacific. we got the tickets from a local travel agent @ $927 inclusive of tax. travel time is about 18 hrs. cebu-hk-toronto.

anyway, i have a question: i need to bring about $17,000. i will bring 8,000 in cash(CAD $) and 9,000 in bank draft. can the bank draft be in US dollars?

Planning to land in Toronto by May 2011. It's just that our passports are still with the embassy. According to their PPR notice, visa expiry will be on June 17, 2011. Anticipating! Now, we couldn't buy plane tickets yet because the visas are not yet in.

you should be fine coz your visa will be on your door few days from now. Dont make any move yet, until your visa will be on your possesion. Will be flying this coming 24th of march bound for toronto
