Did btech in 5 years(2015 May) when it should have been done in 4(2014 May).
I have work exp from 2014 Sept uptill now but my agent says I should only show work exp from 2015 may since I passed at that time or it will confuse VO.
Should I mention my one year gap in SOP and try to fill it with my exp which I have in 2014?
Or should I just listen to my agent?

Your VA is right. you should show that you started working after you passed you graduate. People don't usually get a full time job while studying. and for Canada study permit, study is more important than showing work experience. you don't have to mention the year gap as your mark-sheet will show them when you started your semester and ended it.

All the best :)
