Too Much Proof?

Hello Clubcanada,
Would you happen to know how to provide hotmail/yahoo log files showing date/time without content? I can't seem to figure it out. Also do you think they will find it suspicious without the content??

We took screenshots of my sponsor's inbox after he did a search for my name.

Basically 2 or 3 of these --> but without blocking out the names.

That shows the subject and date of each email, but not much content. You can probably do the same in yahoo/hotmail.

yea because we had so many emails, I just too printouts of that same page listing the emails one after the other, however I also included other printouts which showed content, because it may look suspicious if you dont include SOME content.

yes, I did that too, taking screen shots of the inbox from her only, and some e-mail contents as well.

Almost the same case

We recieved a letter from CIC february 15 2012 and our file was transferred to Paris. We are actually living together in Tunisia me and my wife Pamela for three years but she went back to Canada 3 times during this period, the third time she came here was last may 2011 ,we married December 8, 2011, we sent the application December 22 and it was recieved by the office in Miss december 28. And as I said we were sent and approval email on february 15. neither one of us knows about the time line, the laws and the next steps.

Our first step was approved Feb 17th/2012 and was sent to Paris. My husband is from Tunisia. We are waiting as well. Can I please know what they put for your status in the second step? Ours says
"We receieved XXX application for permanent residence on XXXX."
Under this it says
"Medical Results Have Been Received"
It has been showing this in the second step since we got the approval of the first step February 17th.
Does your status say the same or something different for the second step?
I hope you can reply back as both our sponsor ships are so close in timing it will be interesting to share the process

Clubcanada mentioned skype logs... how can i get our skype chats for the last 2 years? I tried to figure it out but the only thing i was able to retrieve was three months.

Screenshots for emails works (did the same). Use logs for chats. If I recall correctly I copied the skype chats into excel and did some clean up (filtering for 'call').

did you get an update 3 moths ago or changed your user ID? I just checked my chats and it's still going back at least 2 years even though I had some skype updates since then. As I mentioned earlier, these protocols/logs are comparably weak proofs. Better spend more effort on documenting stronger supporting material (wedding, common travel/trips, pictures with relatives, affidavits from friends, etc.)

Yes Madam, it's exactly the same thing. they say medical results have been recieved. and they say in process concerning permanent residence. our case is nearly on the same date. I will notify you if new things happen.

Thanks for replying back. I am a little concerned for something. In the CIC site it says the exact same as you, however no where does it say for us IN PROCESS. Just only "We received xxx application for permanent residence on xxx(this is the date I first sent our application to Ontario)" and under this "Medical results have been received" Do you know what this means? I called CIC and they have no idea as many people say once you see the words that we do (about the medical) it is suppose to mean that my husband should be asked for his passport soon. Also after we sent our application I got 2 emails sent to me with in seconds of each other only a little over a month later. One saying they received our application and the next that I was approved with our file number and also in the same day our file stats have always been the same. Any idea?

our file said medical received when I was approved a s sponsor. The "in process" comes later. It will replace where it says "application received". After it changes to in process then you are closer to receiving ppr. The in process stage is when an actual immigration officer is working on your file.

Thanks for this information. Yes, this makes more since. I see your timeline and wow it seems great. January 25th your file was transferred and then March 14th PPR. Only a month and a half. I hope our file will at least show in process soon.
