To fill a form - or not to fill ? FSW Application Package

Hello Members

I have a very simple question.

I am a Bachelor. Therefore there are certain application forms which automatically do not apply to me.

Surprisingly I do not see any guidance relating to the matter in the Instruction Guide on the CIC website. The site does not suggest whether one has to fill the forms which fundamentally do not apply to those individuals.

My question:

The following forms DO NOT apply to me as I am Single, I have no Children or Common-Law Union and hiring no Rep on my behalf.

- IM008DEP
- IMM5604
- IMM5409
- IMM5476

However, there is a section in the Instruction Guide that lists all the forms and suggests that "The following are the forms that must be filled out and submitted for all applicants:".

Now - obviously I cannot fill the form, as I do not have any information to put in.

Question is - do i exclude the form altogether from my application submission or do i just include a blank copy of the form with the first few fields populated as "N/A". ?

Any help or guidance will be appreciated.

Leave them out.

For example, if you read further down in the application guide it says:

If you have more than five (5) family members, you must complete the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) (PDF, 472 KB) form for each additional family member in order to include everyone in your application.

Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409)
Who must complete this form?
This form must be completed and signed by the sponsor and common-law partner, only if the latter is a co-signer on the application.

I am having a similar confusion...even if i leave out some of the "non applicable" forms there are still some information asked in almost all of the forms where i cannot put "N/a". For example, travel info IMM5562E form, Q2 -b) travel detail for spouse : has only option to "tick" the box for "did not travel". Now am i suppose to do this or just leave it blank? Funny thing is for dependents a blank is given for name where i can put "N/a".

Any suggestions on such problems?

Just write N/A in the first row of the segment and that should be fine. You must have selected 'single' applicant in the Generic Form so CIC will be able to make sense of it.

Write NA .

Not filling any form means that you may have overlooked also. But NA would mean that you are not on wrong side it is just that those do not apply to you.

I have sent my application to CIC and now in waiting zone...hope to make it in CAP.
