Hello, my wife and I are currently filling forms to sponsor her son age 16.
In the form "engagement regroupement familial a-0546" there is a question if she ever had a separation or divorce and the next question is asking if she had a child from a previous union.
If the answer is yes she has to fill the form "Autorisation a la collecte et a la communication de renseignement personnel a-0527".
I would like to know if this applies if the past union and the child she had was not in Canada? Do we have to declare that anyway?
