I got a friend who is living in Toronto from one of my old friend's friend....

I have sent an email on the health insurance and will update you guys if I get anything on this.

Coming to accomodation, I am going to share with him atleast for the first month and then have to look for...
When it comes to accomodation, we need to know which city ppl are planning to move and then we need to see what kind of accomodation we need and then look for...

I found some shared acommodation on craigslist searched on Indian where lot of singles & students posted their rentals. Below is the link for the same.

hI

Hope u r all in good spirits...I 'm planning to travel by october mid.destination Vancouver!!! I have one doubt. If we book tickets via london or US or dubai, do we have to take transit visa for these countris even we r not going outside the airport..just transit only????

Also I am adding one information tht i got..Its better to have a proof of no claims certificate from the motor insurance company from India and also the immunisation record for kids below 15 years (needed for school admissons)

Cheers

Ajith

No Need for Transit Visa of US/UK if traveling through these countries and you are not changing the Airports

FYI

If you want to open a account in scotiabank here in India, we have to apply atleast 40 days before our departure.
