I have been in the US with TN-visa for over 4 years now. When i brought my car from Canada, i did not pay duties, because of the TN visa program rules. I only paid the State registration taxes just like i have moved from another state. Total expenses was something like $450..
I registered the car, used it for a couple years, and sold it to purchase another car. Moving back to Canada soon ( I miss Canada! ), anyone knows if the procedure would be the same?
