I am on Work permit and will be taking my spouse and 3.5 yr old kid to Toronto. I have a few questions
1. my kid is in nursery right now. Will he be admitted to kindergarten in Toronto or will i have to wait till he turns 4?
2. I will be working in Toronto. what place will be suitable to stay with family. I just want to know what areas to avoid in Toronto. For example it is not suggested to stay in Downtown San francisco with Family. It is not a kid friendly neighbourhood.
3. Should I take my kids stroller along to Canada? In India we do not use it much anymore.. basically because we have a car and our kid doesn't really like being in stroller when we go to malls or shopping. also many places are not stroller friendly here.
my understanding is we will have to walk a lot in Toronto as we are not planning to buy a car right away.
Any other tips for going to Canada with a Toddler will be very helpful.
