Tips for a successful BOWP application

For the online BOWP application. After uploading,paying and submitting the application we get the submit confirmation with payment receipt.
At the bottom of the receipt it says,

"Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and keep one
for your records. Please also note that the payer's name on this receipt does not have to be the same
as the one on the application form."

Is this required to be done for online applications? or is it for paper applicants only.

Hello guys,

I am a feb applicant too. I was filling IMM5710 employment section (Last 10 years). I have been working my full time job from last 2 year but in those two year I have worked part time at few other stores just to make some extra money. Do I have to list those jobs in the employment section too . It makes the list too big If I mention those too. I know I will have to attach an extra sheet anyways as the form just have 3 fields but just asking as in last two years I have changed like 3 part time jobs..lol

You create a single pdf file which includes explanation letter +aor email+ other supporting docs And upload in the explanation letter section.

The CIC website shows processing time for WP applications as 62(online) , ~74(paper appln). Is this the same for BOWP?

Bowp is only for you. Your wife needs and is eligible for an Open WP. My wife is in Canada so i applied for her owp along with my bowp. Not sure if your wifes application can be submitted in canada or has to be submitted to India CIC.

- Do I have to completed the section of Intended Work in Canada or should I leave it blank? (I don't have an LMIA)

- For the Itinerary of travel, should I mention that I plan to go out of Canada this month and come back or it's not relevant?

- In the section of Background information, question 2: (Previously applied to enter or remain in Canada), do I have to explain that I applied for the PR and received my AOR or select No?

Online or Paper application, answer the questionnaire. You can do it any number of times till you get it correct. At the end you will get the form, documents, photos, etc required as well as the current fees.

when i applied in March, BOWP..or any WP was $155 (WP fee) + $100 (wp holder fee since feb 21 2015). so total $255

-> Employer, addr section write ' Bridging WP application - Not Applicable' leave related fields blank

-> I attached letter mentioning i am resident and working in canada since xxx date and gave WP details.

- In the section of Background information, question 2: (Previously applied to enter or remain in Canada), do I have to explain that I applied for the PR and received my AOR or select No?
-> Yes i mentioned about PR application , gave AOR File no,etc.

Yes you need to send photos (not sure how many photos though) with paper application.

i applied for BOWP+SOWP online. It cost me (255 *2) +100 = $410 . They didnt ask for $100 twice.
