I just received an email asking for PCC for my mother from UK. In the email it states though provide pcc where you have lived more than 6 months. Now my mother has been many times to UK but never lived there more than 5 months ever. What should i do.

Thanks

Below is rule regarding PCC

"For example: if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate"

Is your file in New Delhi office?

Hi All,

regarding the PCC from the age of 18 onwards, I believe that is unfair for the PGP class, where the most of applicants are more than 60. if we all go our respective MPs I guess CIC will reduce the requirement to last 10years.
Please advise, if my thought is rational or not

Hi Kitsune, It was transferred on Jan 19th, 2017. Took them 4 months to request for additional docs & the Right of PR Fee.
Wow that was quick! Ours was initially in MVO but transferred to CPC-O in August 2016.

Hi Guys
Thank you very much for being very supportive. Without this forum's expertise advice, It is very difficult for me to get through tough times.
Nothing happened after submitting PCC and Medical on February 27, 2017. I have not had any success in linking existing application in GC Key.
I tried several times using UCC, Application Number or any method.
My timeline so far
Jan 4th,2016 - Courier status - received.
June 30th, 2016 - Sponsorship Approved and File transferred to NewDelhi VO (Regular mail)
Dad Passed away suddenly (Primary Applicant)
August 2, 2016 - Email received saying File is transferred to CPC-Ottawa
February 13, 2017 - Medical and PCC request
Consulted with experts here and completed medical and pcc here in Toronto (My mom is with me on Super visa)
February 27, 2017 - Submitted PCC and Medical for my mom
February 27, 2017 - RPRF paid for my mom
March 1, 2017 - Submitted my Dad's death certificate and request letter to make my Mom as primary applicant
March 27, 2017 - CIC sent another communication and acknowledged the submission and asked IMM008 and new agreement forms
April 1 , 2017 - New IMM008 is submitted
April 5, 2017 - ecas changed as application received for my Mom.
Nothing happens after that. No updated in ecas. My mother's super visa expires August 28, 2017. I am not sure whether I apply for super visa again or let her go back to India. Hopefully CIC will do something before that.
