Hi,

Received Medical examination Instructions today from New Delhi but my mom lives in Canada, So my question is do I send medicals to New Delhi or request for transfer of file to Ottawa. Also can anyone let me know at what stage do they request for Medical examination.

In ecas both current home address and mailing address are shown as Canadian address still my application was transferred to ND.

Thanks
I received medical request as well this morning on July 01, SA was received on June 29- letter was dated June 22. Same question, my parents are here; can I get the medicals done in Canada and will they be electronically transferred to the New Delhi VO?

. Dear Kaka555, Please contact Indian High Commission in Canada and they will give you the PCC.My daughter has obtained it from here only.Good Luck

Absoluetly correct. In terms of PCC or any other documents the Indian Embassy in North America and Canada are doing best job. I would eventualy have to get our mothers made soon. However in the recent part I had got one made one from self from NYC Indian Embassy for my own PCC and birth Certificate.

Assuming you will contact Indian embassy in Toronto here is the link:
http://www.cgitoronto.ca

Read the instructions and then call them.
Hope this helps.

I haven't received PCC request for my parents yet... only medical request. I think PCC can be requested thru the Indian High Commission in TO.

Does anyone know if medicals for my parents can be done in Canada if the request is from NDVO?

Thanks to all canpuneet,A Kumari,Dadaum,Naveen 73
When I am applying on-line to Delhi Police for PCC there is a column saying “request from the required Agency for which you need PCC”,and I also think they need the physical presence in New Delhi so it is better to contact Indian High Commission at Toronto. How much tome it takes when applying INDIAN HIGH COMMISSION at Toronto

For the medicals, you can take a appointment from the Panel physicians lists on CIC website. As there are many people in similar situation it took me 2 weeks to get an appointment as the doctors don't do it everyday. My mom is here and I am doing the medicals here, the file is transferred to New Delhi. They will give us a receipt after the medicals (around 1 to 2 hours) which we need to send on the other side they will update the electronic version to our file number.

Regarding the PCC, I have applied it through
http://blsindia-canada.com/pol_clr_cert.php
They have various locations including Brampton. If you go to their centre with the documents you will need to sit and wait for 4 to 5 hours (if you go before the office opens). Else if you go for pick and drop option it costs 35$ and a fedex person will be picking the package and dropping it back once complete. Their estimated time for the PCC processing is 4 to 6 weeks.

Before submitting the application to BLS, it is wise to call them up if you have confusions while filling their forms. Good luck!!

By the way, when you send the forms to New Delhi as we need to send the entire package that was submitted initially, are you applying for one more option c printout and sending a copy of the receipt paid initially?

Yes is the answer to your question.
Here is how it works: The medical request is sent to the applicant and you have to go to the cic website and look for authorized panel physician per your location. Now the website is well documented in terms of what you need to do and when you call the doctors place for an appointment tell them your reason and they will or you ask what are the requirements of doc you need to bring with you.

I guess that is it. Hope this is helpful.
Reference my sister (Indian) had her application from NDVO initially but later send to Poland for last stage (i guess there was more manpower there at that given time) and she was travelling to Canada when her medical request came. So she got it done from Canada and the best part with medical is the doctor send it themselfs to cic and its not like pcc or any other docuemnt.
