And I have a question too. The status of one of my applications (for my dad) shows the following: Sponsorship: "Application rec-d" and under PR column: "In process".

When I click on the link "In process" under PR column it shows just "Application received" . No AOR yet. What does it mean??

I only have this "We received your application to sponsor **** on January 4th 2016"

Hi Rossie,

I cant access to your google doc website for some reasons. Google keep saying it has an error.

Is there anyone in the same situation as me? I havent recieved any AOR yet but my ECAS is active and so as my parents' . Should I be worrying? Is it normal? Should I give cic a ring?

FYI,
1. I didn't receive AOR after E-case can be checked online for a month, then I called CIC explained to them to ask if I can get case number, the agent gave me the case number over the phone, says the AOR was sent by email in February 1st. However I did not recieve it by whatever the reason. But 5 weeks later, I got AOR letter through the post mail.

2. I called CIC later used the case number I got from AOR letter to find out if I need to send option C instead, the agent told me the record shows CIC attempted to send AOR letter by email in February did not go through. ( I don't know what that meant) anyway, so they sent post mail after.

3. I was wondering if my email address was the issue by all means, however, a few days later, I got SA letter from CIC by email.

Thank you so much. I just got off the phone with cic call center. Apparently it was sent on Feb 1. But of course, just like you, it didnt go through. Anyways, they gave me the case number. I guess that is all I need.

Does the medical check comes together with the letter that inform you for transferring to HongKong? Or it come as a separate letter/email?

I think letter comes from local visa office letting you know your file is here and if you have not submitted PCC or Medicals then please submit.

Don't worry Luda even if you have not received the AOR your file is in process so that's fine sometimes email doesn't comes through bcoz of so many reasons like officer typed wrong id or sent in mail but lost in mail something like that but you should not worry about that as long as your ecase is activated and cc is charged you are very much in queue for Visa.

I have the same issue since Monday. Rossie suggest using google drive ,however I haven't tried it.
I am fine to open it from my computer but not iPad.
2014/2015 spreadsheet are okay to open from iPad.

I don't know why cic don't update Ecase like they do it for Citizenship applications. they write everything in ecase letting you know that they have sent you an email or mail on this this date.

So why not update on these type of cases too so that we know that they sent email but we missed it and can always contact them and ask them what it was. But now we don't even know if they have sent it or not.

Yeah try calling cic or sending online inquiry about the email lost and see what they reply.

If they update ecases on time folks, lots of guys who are on the phone with us will lose their job))) There are lots of things done to create more jobs...
