Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Based on this tread/forum Purolator outside Ontario and within Ontario have different time. 4th January application Purolator used local courier for Ontario applications and Purolator for outside.

In my case my application should be the 9:43AM batch January 5 but Purolator Alberta was not able to send our application because of the delayed plane here in AB.

I am just taking my luck.. Hope we are in the 10k cap..

we should be the same situation, my apps delayed one day from Montreal, because they made Fxxxxx mistake!!!!

If the 5th January application will not make it to CAP. Why is it that we have applications returned that is dated 5th January 11AM onwards. Hmmmm this confuses me..

I am sure CIC Reps did not know anything neither.~ they just let you wait couple minutes and tell everybody the same thing.

When was yours delivered? Do you have a time stamp and did you verify if they lied about the Jan 5 time stamp like they did with the one from the 4th? I don't know man but based on my phone call, I got the impression that Jan 5 is out of luck (she never said that but it's my analyze based on her response to my questions).

yeah... We keep on praying.. I know if God knows what is best for us... If not this year then that God wants for now and we will try again next year..

Just for anyone who hasn't been billed yet; it was 15 business days for them to bill the first 5000 applications. So far in the second 5000 it has been 10 business days, so there are probably another 5 days, 1500 applications still to be processed. There is a good shot for some Jan 5th people to make the cap.

yeah... We keep on praying.. I know if God knows what is best for us... If not this year then that God wants for now and we will try again next year..

i don't care any more this year, i just want my file back. since my house's flooded, my backup documents were all destroyed. i need original copy. :'( :'(

There is no information to support that we don't have a chance. 8:52AM 5th January... All information here supports my theory that we still have chance.. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hope for the best 8). Me also Purolator victim from Alberta, delayed application delivered by a day!!!. Delivered on Jan 5th @ 8:52 AM.

Just call CIC, the agent told me my file still in CIC, they don't know if I am in the cap or not. they received my application 5th of January @10:04

did they take long time to find your file?

This is what i think/suppose:

For 4th January same day delivery, regardless of the origin of the application were delivered through local courier and applications delivered on 31st December(next day 9 am service) regardless of the origin were delivered by purolator
