Credit card got CHARGED yesterday afternoon around 4 pm!!!!!!!

Yay congrats! Happy to hear CIC is still charging apps. Started to get a little discouraged...

I would love to know where you got your info............... Not that I don't believe you, but being that this is your first post ever and you haven't provided any info to back up your claim...... sounds more like speculation.

I am from 943 batch.... is there something to prove your claim maybe? :-X

Cap 5000 is reached now.
None from Purolator 9:43am batch can make it into the 5000 cap, because actual delivered time is around 2:00 pm.

Do not think that any of us have any source....and we are all speculating...even i'm from 9:43 and i personally think (without any source) that the cap of 5K is about to reach soon...based on last years timeline (posted int his forum). 9:43 or whatever time it really is (I am also part of it and I think it is probably around noon or post noon that they have delivered) might make it to 10K and not 5K cap...once they start charging those apps.

If we applied as Citizens sponsoring parents? How do we check this?

If you're a naturalized citizen, you still should have UCI# printed on the back of your citizenship certificate.

Option-1: You can use your UCI# and other credentials as a sponsor to log into E-CAS.
Option-2: You can use File# (given in AOR email/mail) and your parent's (principal applicant) credentials to log into E-CAS.


Mind you, E-CAS doesn't work for everyone for various reasons. It will be active some day for you. Do not lose sleep over it. E-CAS activity, payment acceptance are all "unofficial" signs of your application being accepted whereas a mail or email from CIC confirming that they accepted your application with a File No# assigned to your case is an "official" sign.

I see .. And you are saying this because You have personally checked all 9:20 Fedex batch AND ensured that ALL those not charged had no mistakes on their application - correct ? Isn't it a possibility, SIR, that those not charged @ 9:20 may have not reported it on the forum or made a mistake on their application. Please don't make a fool of yourself by posting such nonsense.

Some applications received at 11:00am on Jan 4 has been accepted i.e CC has been charged per Spread sheet.
Then how come applications received at 09:20 (fedex batch) are still pending or out of CAP ... I do not get it..

If that is the case then first come first serve is not applied this year .....

I am in the fedex 9:19AM batch and has not been charged yet. I do not believe there was mistake in my application since my wife got charged using UPS. We cross-checked many times. For example Fedex has 1000+ applications. CIC does not take 1000+ at once, they accept them one by one so there could be one hour or two between the first app and the last app. unfortunately mine probably in the later range. Or it is also possible that fedex guy can not carrier 1000+ at once, so they have to do it twice but they time stamp all apps as 9:19AM. it is so unfortunate and I am as sad as you do but we should be within the 5000 to 10k range. do not lose hope and enjoy the rest of the week.

Agreed. If they have only now completed the 5,000 then I have confidence that we made it into the 10,000.
