Last year I think the same ratio was used. They accepts 7000 application and I think 1500+ application were rejected due to incompleteness. So 14k for 10k is realistic.

I have updated the "Projection" sheet in google docs.
IF 161 applicants represent 14,000+ applications, 161/15000 = 1.073%
AND if a total of 10,000 applications will be retained,
AND a strict FCFS is followed,
I am afraid to say that not all the purolator's 9:43 am deliveries will be lucky

Please revisit the analysis and comment, I wish I am wrong.

10,000 cap will change all the math...

In 2015, we had 247 entries into the spreadsheet which represented 7,000 apps.
in 2016, we have 163 so far (which will increase slowly) which may represent 14,000 apps.

:weird:

The admission and intake levels are not governed by law. The Action plan for faster family reunification is a bylaw and is the area of business of CIC, hence parliament has nothing to do with it.

Can the Government push CIC to pass that bylaw?

Whatever math statistics we put here won't work... we are only 1% of those 14000 applications and most of them first day submitters who knew whats going on and how fast it will fill up. so guessing on 1% doesn't make sense...

I mean from last year experience if anyone paid by bank draft and got accepted or refuded,,pls share

Actually based on delivery time there's a few couriers before Purolator... UPS, Metro Mississauga, FedEx, Current Express THEN Purolator.
I guess we should find out who was lying about delivery time soon.

Hmmmm. I don't think they will reject. They will probably ask for it, resulting in a delay. I don't think not writing in the native language is any grounds for refusal. I might be wrong but logically it shouldn't be the cause of refusal.

Weird that VW applications weren't charged before Happy Road as they were supposedly at 8.10am...
