I just received my canadian citizenship certificate and I'm preparing documents to sponsor my partner, who I have been with for 3 years and living with for over 1 year. We both live in the US.
We both really want to go to university and I have my sights set on UBC Okanagan campus. My concern is when should we start applying for school? Is that something we should do after the sponsorship application is submitted? Also, is proof that we are applying for university enough to show that we intend to move there permanently? I hear that can be difficult to prove, and I don't know when to start a move abroad. I've never done it before.
