Timeline PPR, then what?? Within Canada Application

My husband and I received Rfpf request January 28th 2014, then in Feb 25th we received "ready for visa letter" requesting copies of passports and photographs.

They were sent express post and received by the ottowa office March 7th 2014.

We also received an email from cic stating "our rprf fee was outstanding" we sent them proof of payment as previously submitted.

Since then we have not heard anything else. I sent a follow up email March 21st, with no response.

What is the general waiting time from ppr to the next step?

Have we been approved?

We were hoping to be able to exit and re enter as perm residents Easter weekend but I'm starting to think there is no chance of that happening!!
 
Are you from a visa exempt country?
 
Since you are from a visa exempt country, you should get an confirmation of PR by snail mail. it can take up to a month from the date of decision made before they post it to you.
Pls if you don't mind me asking, What is your timeline and under which category you applied?

April 23rd 2013 - Medical Request
July 15th 2013 - Medical Completed (we live regionally and was hard to get medical done)
Sept 15th 2013 - Request for more information (needed new traffic history)
Jan 28th 2014 - Email: RFPF request
Feb 25th 2014: Ready for Visa email (PPR)
Mar 1st: Copy of passports and photographs mailed to cic Ottawa

Since then... Nothing!

it is the mail service .. it is taking time ..

can i ask you what is "new traffic history" they requested from you?
 
It's not in the mail yet. We sent them an express post envelope as requested and it hasn't been activated yet.

It's my drivers abstract.

But is not it strange to ask for drivers abstract? i did not send it with my application? shall they ask for it?
 
Well it all depends where you are from and whether your providence/state has an online system. Mine did not.
