Timeline for Refugee PR application for 2025

I can’t find a thread for this so I’ll start one.
I submitted my Refugee PR Application 12th February 2025. I’m currently awaiting AOR.

from which country are you applying? Have you checked the processing time for your country? Is it still within the timeline?

Processing times are around 3 years out of Quebec so everything takes longer including AOR. There will be very long periods of time when you hear nothing.

I am not in Quebec.
And it doesn’t take long to get AOR in most cases. My friend applied in December and got AOR in march.

That still could mean 4 months and processing in general is getting slower. In general this is going to be a very long process so every step is going to be slower than you may be expecting.
