After period of year and half, finally I am all set about canadian immigration. I got our passports stamped at Buffalo and then I have landed successfully in Canada. Now am back to MI, US.

I would like to know how long it takes to get my PR card. Immigration officer informed me timeframe as 4 to 6 weeks. Does it really take that long? My address of correspondence is from North York,ON.

  2. Hi

The posted processing time is 36 days see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times/process%2Din.html#pr_card so unless there is a problem with the picture, thats when you should have it, plus mailing time.
