Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Under Canada's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

Hello friends. My timeline is as followed:
Application filed at Winnipeg Visa office: april 2013
File number received dated : July 31st 2013.
And no news till now. No sponsor interview either. Is anyone In th same situation of inordinate delay as me ? Any help will be highly appreceiated as to why its still pending!!!! Thankyou and rabb rakha..

With god's grace, We too got Maple leaf and received our passports yesterday...Thank you god for ending my super duper FSW backlog clearance long wait more than 2555 days... Immense thanks to God!!!!!!!

ME and jay are confused...why our file are struck as most of our friends in forum those have submitted their passports near to the date on which me & Jay submit ours.....got there DM and even their PP with magic sticker..


what are the different reason they are not give us DM and PP with visa......?

What kind of Investigation because Me and my wife had Travel history to Australia and I have new travel history to USA after i submit my Application to CIC which I did not Updated to CIC.

PLease Let me know How Loong they can take?

I am worried

I am worried

i know its very simple to say "don't worry".
but Be always +ve. engage yourself in work.
VO always take time to check each and every point . i think you have LOA also might be they are verifying
if you really want to get the what exactly going on , apply "Global Case Management System ( GCMS ) note " its also take one month time to get reply
meanwhile in a month, hopefully you will get the MR PPR request
