Three months to Nova Scotia when we submitted our application right.

Do you think Colombo will ask for PCC again as now its more than three months old ?

No they would not in 99% of the cases...

If the processing takes too much time and the period goes to more than an year...they may ask you...

Ok thanx mine I think is expiring in november. I guess by then our files should have been processsed.

But if u see Deepak Katoch case he was asked PCC again.

I do hope our files are processed by november though..I got my pcc issued in late january this year....

how do u know chc wudnt accept PCC more than 3 months old? if the PCC validity is 1 year

My friend(identity concealed intentionally) had an experience regarding this so he was my source...plus i read it on CIC website too(please search it there)...


There are two options of PCC in india..

Passport seva kendra and Superintendent of police office...

The latter is valid for six months and the former for 1 one year from the date of issuance.

CHC demands that the pcc should not be 3 months old whenever we file an application..Since this scenario rarely occurs that we wait for three months to file an application after getting the pcc, this scenario has not come to much light recently.
