Time work remote abroad count as Foreign Work Exp?

I'm working in Canada and might have to travel to my home country for 5 months for personal reasons.
My employer allows me to work remotely during this time, so I'll get full salary and will be taxed as usual.

1. Will there be a problem when I get back to Canada? I'm on a closed work permit.
2. From reading this forum, I understand that this period outside of Canada won't be counted as "in Canada" work experience, but can it be counted towards "Foreign Work Experience"?
