I am in an awkward situation right now. I got ppr2 on 11th November 2014 and my passports were delivered to chc Islamabad on the 12th November 2014.

Its been three weeks already and i still dont have my passports back. My status was changed to decision made in September 2014. Does anyone have any idea what could be the reason for this kind of situation? Anyone facing the same situation as mine?

Dear mate

We are currently facing visa-stamping delay at CHC-ISB, while LVO is currently busy issuing MR and PPR thus creating even more backlog for CHC-ISB.

Seems like they are trying to hit the target for this year!!

The truth is we cannot do anything but wait and annoy them with our enquiries ;D

Inshallah you will hear good news soon!!

I had submit my passport on 3 october ...60 days have been passed away still no reply,,ecas shows in process...its teasing me ...any one in the thread who submitted passport in first week of october ????????and plz guide me ,,,maximum kitny days main status change hta hai..they reply me against my mail that they are doing routine background cheks ...pta nae konsy cheks py lagy hain .... plz share ur xperienc guys

Please share your timeline, your visa office, category.

Then we can guide you appropriately.

I have not heard from anyone that CIC conducts BG checks after passport request.

Please also share the email you received from your respected visa office.
