My husband and I are increasingly concerned with the direction the U.S. is going. We are current homeowners in CA and are both retired, with excellent pensions and quite substantial personal retirement savings. Money will never be an issue. Is there a pathway for retired immigrants? I cannot find one in my search. Thanks for any information. We are potentially interested in Vancouver Island, having visited there many times and love it.

There is no immigration pathway for retired individuals. Immigration programs are aimed at young economic immigrants and family reunification.

You'll have to be satisfied with visiting Canada as tourists from time to time.
