Time to enter Canada for approved OWP

Hello there...

I am international PhD student.
My wife and two children were approved to enter Canada with OWP and visitor visas.

My question is;
Should they enter immediately?
Is there any duration at which they should use there visa to travel to Canada for the first time?

My wive's corresponding letter (that she needs to issue her Work permit at border) shows that she should seek entry by 2020, however I am wondering if we delay the entry until summer (almost 6 months after their TRV's were issued), would this make any trouble!?

1. If her and the children's entry Visas (TRV) are valid until 2020, then they can enter anytime up to that date.
