Hi
is the time spent from the day of applying asylum to the day of hearing counted as physical presence in Canada
or it begins after the protected person status being granted?

Unfortunately....only after getting your pr...three years without problems and living inside the country ,you will get your citizenship

fortunately that's not correct
certainly the time spent before you become a permanent resident is counted half day for every day you spend regardless the day for day when PR is granted
that's for sure
my question was about the time spent before the hearing date
thank you for your response.

Time before your hearing doesn’t count because you was not a resident
